International package delivery agreement

Compensation standards for parcel delivery:

Our company will not compensate for the loss, shortage, damage or delay of mail during delivery due to reasons not attributable to our company. We are not responsible for compensation for indirect losses and unrealized profits. Please refer to the package compensation standards for details.

We will not be liable for compensation in the following circumstances:

1. Caused by force majeure (except for insured mail).

2. If the items being sent violate the prohibition or restriction regulations, they will be confiscated by the competent authorities or handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. When the mail is delivered, it is well packaged with no signs of disassembly, and its weight has not decreased, but the contents are missing or damaged.

4. The recipient has signed for the parcel in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

5. Mail loss or delay is caused by the customer's responsibility or the reasons of the mail itself.

6. The customer fails to make an inquiry or claim for compensation from the date of mailing to the expiration of the inquiry period.

7. International mail is detained, confiscated or destroyed by the destination country in accordance with its domestic laws.

Prohibited Items

Items prohibited from being sent by mail

1. Items that are prohibited from circulation or delivery by national laws and regulations;

2. Dangerous goods such as explosive, flammable, corrosive, radioactive and toxic substances;

3. Reactionary newspapers, books, magazines or obscene articles;

4. Various currencies;

5. Articles that endanger public health;

6. Perishable items;

7. Live animals (except bees, silkworms and leeches whose packaging can ensure the safety of delivery and workers);

8. Items that are improperly packaged and may endanger personal safety, or contaminate or damage other mail equipment;

9. Other items that are not suitable for postal delivery.

Postal practice prohibits posting

1. The nature of the article or its packaging may cause harm to postal service personnel or damage mail or postal equipment.

2. Items with sharp edges such as metal buttons used for sealing that may interfere with mail processing.

3. All kinds of firearms, ammunition, explosives, flammables, corrosives, radioactive elements and containers, strong poisons, anesthetics, biochemical products and infectious substances.

4. Any publications, promotional materials, printed materials, etc. that are harmful to social security and stability and are obscene.

5. Any items that endanger public health.

6. Files or items that are prohibited from entering or circulating by the other party.

7. In addition to the above general provisions, relevant regulations of the customs department should also be complied with.

Taiwan Postal Regulations prohibit posting

1. The nature of the article or its packaging may cause harm to postal service personnel or damage mail or postal equipment.

2. Items with sharp edges such as metal buttons used for sealing that may interfere with mail processing.

3. Inflammable, explosive or other dangerous goods. However, if the registration agencies use special methods to package and send perishable biological materials to each other, and the relevant competent authorities issue transportation certificates, they are not subject to this restriction.

4. Living animals. However, bees, silkworms, leeches, parasites sent between registered institutions, or insects used to eliminate pests are not subject to this restriction.

5. Radioactive items.

6. Opium, morphine and other narcotic substances. However, if the relevant competent authorities have issued a transportation certificate or the judicial organs or judicial police agencies have a document to prove that the items are used for litigation evidence, and are sent to each other as insured or declared value packages, or as insured packages for medical or scientific research, and are approved by the destination bureau, they are not subject to this restriction.

7. Obscene and indecent documents or articles. However, if the judicial authority or judicial police authority certifies in writing that the documents or articles are used as evidence in litigation, they may be sent to each other by registered mail or parcels without being subject to this restriction.

8. Documents or articles that are prohibited from entering the destination.

9. Documents or articles that are prohibited from sale or manufacture by the relevant competent authorities in Taiwan. However, if the judicial authorities or judicial police authorities certify in writing that the documents are used as evidence in litigation, they can be sent to each other by registered mail or parcels without such restriction.

10. Lottery tickets and lottery-related advertising leaflets. However, if the judicial authorities or judicial police authorities certify in writing that the items are used as evidence in litigation, they can be sent to each other by registered mail or parcels without being subject to this restriction.

11. Other prohibited items stipulated by laws.
